Kind Words from Hockey Fans Around the World
Epic vintage hockey talk
"I always enjoy this podcast. It brings to life many players I knew little about, but had their hockey cards in my wooden box or bicycle spokes! I particularly enjoy episodes featuring defunct teams.
Keep up the great work!"

"Great Podcast. Mark is a great host!"
Can’t say enough about this podcast. Mark Willand is an amazing interviewer, well-studied in NHL history and knows how to let the guest “take the mic”!
Mark has also curated a great library of guests and you will find yourself scrolling back and listening to all the previous episodes.

"BRAVO!"
This podcast is a must for all hockey fans, particularly those who grew up in the 70s and 80s-Mark Willand is from that era and has a authenticity and credibility with his guests, the vast majority of whom feel comfortable to open up with Willand about their careers in the great game.
Willand has a great interviewing style-he is able to prompt the guest bringing up memories of the old days, and then allowing the guest to speak at length without interruption. What a pleasure, a radio/pod host who actually listens!

"Always a great listen for hockey fans"
Mark is phenomenal! His connections allow him to have great guests on the podcast.
The content is truly unique and he always asked the right questions that provide insight to hockey going back to the 70’s, 80’s, and beyond.

"Among the best hockey podcasts"
Mark Willand is one of hockey's colorful 'non-playing' characters with the Hartford Whalers, Pittsburgh Penguins and Boston Bruins. He brings this funny and informative podcast from his perspective with excellent guest players.
Enjoy this phenomenal hockey podcast!

"Awesome!"
I started to listen to the podcast on Don Luce last week, but I only got half way through it. Had to leave. Hoping to finish it in then next couple days when I'm off work. All these podcasts are awesome.
I have his page bookmarked at home. I used to listen to Dr. Phil at home while doing odds and ends, now I listen to Dr. Mark Willand. LOL!

"Thank You!"
Mark, I've been meaning to write your for a while, I really enjoy your podcast.
I started watching hockey in 1970. So many of your interviews are my vintage. You get lots of great stories from these guys. I also like your interviewing style. Very easy going and engaging. Also, it's obvious how well versed you are in this era.
Just wanted to let you know that someone appreciates your efforts with the podcast, Thanks!

"I Love it!"
Mark, I'm 52 and grew up on a farm in Peterborough. For a few years now have been wishing someone would start a program to tell us where the players are, what they are doing now, and tell us about their hockey days.
So I felt like I'd won the lottery when I discovered your podcast a few months ago! I love it! thank you so much!! Former Whalers Jeff Brubaker & Doug Jarvis were my counsellors/instructors at Roger Nielson hockey schools.
Thank you again!
Alan

"Love listening to this podcast. I was a big WHA fan. Love to hear the stories. I was super surprised to hear Randy Manery is from my home town Leamington on the pod cast. I’d love to hear so Cleveland Barons and Kansas City Scouts players on the podcast.
Keep up the great work."
